In an emergency ...
... if you or someone else is in immediate danger call 999
The call is free and you can make it from any phone. You will be asked which service you require – the fire brigade, ambulance service, police or the coastguard. If you are not sure which service you need, the operator will advise you before putting you through to the relevant emergency operator who will then ask for more details. You may feel stressed and upset, but the more information you can give about your location and experience the better.
